At the Marketplace, we have the following options going out for lunch & dinner:
Vegan & Vegetarian: Black Bean Burgers (gluten-free buns available on request)
Tex Mex: Tempeh & Seitan options
Pizza: Vegan Vegetable Pizza, with vegan cheese

September brought us Wicked Wings….October featured BBQ Blues…what could we have in store for November?

For our last Elite Event of the semester, University Dining brings to you: Stone Steakhouse!

Stone Steakhouse will be Wednesday, November 28th, from 5 pm to 7 pm, at the cost of a swipe plus $5 ($16 if not on a meal plan). Keep your eyes peeled on our social media channels, we will be releasing the menu and reservations soon!

We hope you join us for a night of laughs, fun, and delicious steaks!

Celebrate All Hallow’s Eve with us at University Dining in the Marketplace tomorrow night for dinner!

Dine on “bloody bat wings” (bone-in ribs with a tangy red BBQ sauce) at Hometown, chocolate pudding dirt cups & candy corn jello cake at the Bakery, and witches brains soup (tomato soup with spaghetti pasta) at the Soup Station!

Stop by, eat to your hearts desire…if you dare!!

Thx For Making My Day: Nominate a University Dining employee!

By now, surely you have seen all of the signs in multiple University Dining locations that look like this:

This is a national program that University of New Haven Dining is part of that seeks to honor employees that make every day a special day for you!

By using the QR code found on each sign, or by heading to, you can nominate a University Dining employee that goes above and beyond to help you or other students to have a better day.

Each month, there is a national winner, so get those nominations in!

Celebrate World Pasta Day with us tomorrow all over campus!

Thursday, October 25th is World Pasta Day…and we are here to celebrate!

Many students have asked for Chicken Broccoli Alfredo pasta at Sandella’s, and we can’t think of a better way to bring it back than by starting on World Pasta Day!

Marketplace is celebrating both at the pizza station with a chicken parmesan & penne pizza and at Chef’s Choice, where they will feature a customizable pasta bar.

FoD is joining in the action, offering penne a la vodka with an option for chicken! This delicious and popular dish will be on the menu for lunch and dinner!

BBQ Blues – One week away!

Back by popular demand…BBQ Blues is coming to FoD!

New menu, new time, same delicious flavor! BBQ Blues will be happening on Monday, October 29th! Join us for a night of savory barbecue cuisine, fun times, and great atmosphere.

The BBQ Blues menu includes potato leek soup, your choice of appetizers (buffalo chicken dip, mac & cheese, or wedge salad) and your choice of entree (southern sauced ribs, BBQ pulled pork, and apricot glazed chicken). Each order comes with a baked sweet potato, string beans, and cornbread, and hot fudge sundae for dessert! Get all this for just a swipe plus $5!
