Commuters! The new meal plans include you, too! Come to a focus group specifically for commuter meal plans
With the all new meal plans, we definitely haven’t forgotten about our non-resident guests. We have three meal plans made specifically for commuters, making sure they know that you don’t have to live on campus to get the most out of our Dining Services here at the University of New Haven!
This Monday, 4/24, at 4:30 PM in the Student Dining Room, we are holding a focus group specifically for those interested in commuter meal plans. We will take questions and feedback, giving you a chance to voice your opinion. There will be refreshments and even a raffle!
So stop on by and let your voice be heard!
LUNCH CONNECTION: Meet Manager Jalen at Food on Demand today for lunch!
As part of our continuing Lunch Connection series, come to FöD between 1 pm and 2 pm to sit down with Manager Jalen Hoskie and pick his brain over everything Dining Services! Any feedback, questions, suggestions, or otherwise is welcomed, so hit him with all you have.
While you’re sitting with him, be sure to enjoy some tasty treats…wings! He’ll have garlic parmesan and honey bourbon ones for you to dine on while you talk.

New menu items at FöD!
We’ve heard you! A common suggestion throughout Sodexo Dan’s Residence Hall Tour was for some new items at Food on Demand. Our chefs have listened and are making some changes, starting today (4/19).
Making it’s way to the lunch menu are fish tacos. The dinner menu is getting beef tips and Rasta pasta as entrees, with the pasta coming with an option for shrimp. Also to the dinner menu are two new appetizers, egg rolls and potato cake Benedict.

Easter may be over, but the C-Store Egg Hunt continues!
Easter Sunday has ended, bringing the always rough Monday after. However, at the C-Store, Easter spirit is still going strong! We have two eggs still not found, including the GRAND PRIZE egg. I went down there earlier today and spent way too long trying to scour the shelves, looking for eggs, but I was unable to find any. Perhaps you will have better luck! Get there quick, and keep the Easter magic flowing!

C-STORE: Celebrate Easter with an Easter Egg Hunt!
Starting today, 4/13, until Sunday, the C-Store will be running an Easter Egg Hunt!
Each day, there will be three eggs hidden throughout the C-Store, waiting to be found by a lucky person. Inside each egg is a special offer that can be used at the C-Store. On Sunday, there will be a fourth egg hidden that contains a Grand Prize!
So come on down, put your sleuthing shoes on, and let’s get hunting!
A HUGE day for dining on campus!
Today, April 12, is a big day to dine on campus!
It is National Grilled Cheese Day, which means we have some great lunch options for you lovers of cheese melted between two pieces of delicious bread!
FöD: Celebrate with either a nice Florentine grilled cheese (spinach & tomato), a BBQ Crunch & bacon grilled cheese (bacon & BBQ chips with pepper jack cheese), or our old faithful grilled cheese! You can get tomato soup on the side as well!
Marketplace: Create your own delicacy with a build a grilled cheese bar at the Chef’s Choice station! Choose from cheddar, American, or Manchego cheese, with your choice of portabella mushrooms, tomato, caramelized onions, or bacon. Grab a hot bowl of tomato soup to go with it!
In addition to National Grilled Cheese Day, tonight’s the night for BBQ Blues! Those who signed up for our second to last Elite Event of the semester will get to enjoy great barbecue outside on the FöD patio. Experience the barbecue that sings to your soul!
