It’s the crunch time of finals, and the C-Store is ready to help fuel that crunch! We have two great offers on from today through Wednesday, so get down and take advantage!
We are still going strong with the Italian ice! Each day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday), snag a cup of watermelon, lemon, or cotton candy from 12 pm – 4 pm for only $1.99!
A good day of finals starts with a great breakfast. Take care of that by grabbing cereal boxes, 2 for $10!
After a hard first few days of finals, end your week with some refreshing Italian ice at the C-Store, for only $1.99!
Head over between 12 pm and 4 pm, and get your ticket from the C-Store cashier. Then hand the ticket to the scooper out front and score your delicious dessert treat!
It’s hot, it’s beautiful, it’s time…back by popular demand, C-Store has brought back Italian Ice! For just $1.99 you can get flavors like mango, blue vanilla, and rainbow to beat the heat.
Get yours today (and Thursday, and Friday) from 12 pm – 4 pm at the C-Store. Just mention to the cashier you’d like italian ice, and they will get you a ticket to give to the scooper outside!
So enjoy the beautiful weather, and cool off with a delicious, cold, treat!
Prepping for exams? Well power up with some pancakes! Join Center for Learning Resources and CSELO as they host Midnight Breakfast at the Marketplace! There will be scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage links, home fries, fresh fruit, yogurt, plus more. Swing by the CLR area where they will have Study Tips available, each coming with candy, pencils, and highlighters to get you all set for finals week.
Just remember…it’s called Midnight Breakfast, but it’s from 9 pm to 11 pm!
Research has shown that it’s extremely advantageous to study on a full stomach. (And by research, I mean I read that on the latest “Toilet Talk” in Bartels). Well, take advantage of that!
Charger Cafe will have cereal cups and energy snack bars for sale all throughout finals! So when you’re cramming for your exams in the library, swing on by and fuel up!
Tomorrow is the day! Spring Carnival kicks off on North Campus, and the fun begins. University Dining will have it’s dining tent open from 4 pm – 6 pm, serving up some delicious food.
From 10 am – 4 pm, students can get their wristbands in the Faculty Dining Room in the Marketplace, which gets you into the dining tent. If you can’t make that time, no fear! You can get a wristband from 4 pm – 6 pm in the Charger Gymnasium at North Campus.

iCommit, Sodexo’s sustainability program, is in full force this week. With Earth Day coming on Sunday, we at University Dining want to hear how students can contribute to helping the planet! Show us what you’ve got tomorrow, April 20, in the Marketplace for lunch.
We will be set up with chalkboards, where you will come up with a way you can help contribute to saving the planet! It doesn’t have to be rocket science…it’s as simple as “recycling”, “turning the water off when you brush your teeth”, or “turning lights off when you leave the room”. Every little bit helps!
So come on down to the Marketplace tomorrow, and let’s commit together to helping the planet!
It’s almost here…our last Elite Event for the semester, Fresh Guacamole! It’s all going down next Wednesday, April 25th, at Food on Demand. Check out the menu here, and sign up today by filling out a card at the FöD cashier’s station. Also, you can send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Reserve your spot, and let’s end the semester with a fiesta!
A popular piece of feedback we’ve received is to have more vegan & vegetarian options at Food on Demand. Well, we heard you! Starting tonight (and for lunch & dinner going forward), FöD is bringing two new options! Both will be featured on the regular menu as well, with options for a meat protein.
Broccoli Balsamic Salad: Peppers, onions, and broccoli served with a light balsamic dressing. Comes with grilled tofu. Regular menu has the option of grilled tofu or salmon.
Fajita Bowl: Peppers & onions sauteed with Cajun spiced rice. Comes with grilled tofu. Regular menu has the option of grilled tofu, chicken, or shrimp.
Try both now at Food on Demand!
iCommit is Sodexo’s program promoting sustainability initiatives. Each year, we do events that promote good sustainable habits that benefit the earth. Well, we’re back! We will have two different chances to help us out. Tuesday, 4/17 and Friday, 4/20 we will be in Marketplace and FöD (locations and times TBD, we’ll announce here!). Come out and show your support by telling us what sustainable habits you can do in your daily lives! From “turning the water off while brushing teeth”, to “turning lights off in rooms when you leave them”, no idea is too simple or too small. They all benefit our world!
